Ep 46. Is it possible to stop bingeing in 30 days
Short answer: yes
The majority of my clients stop bingeing after 30 days.
The fact is most people have a hard time finding food freedom because they feel alone in the process.
Without support, it can feel like an uphill battle dealing with everyone in diet culture including yourself.
Just because you’ve “failed” at diets doesn’t mean you’ll fail at being a normal eater.
IF YOU’VE TRIED TO LET YOURSELF EAT EVERYTHING BUT JUST ENDED UP BINGEING, YOU’RE STILL MISSING SOMETHING.
You are trying to leap when this process takes gradual and bite-sized shifts.
You need step-by-step guidance to introduce trigger foods and let go of food rules slowly so you don’t end up in a binge puddle.
GIVING UP ON YOUR BODY GOALS MAY TRIGGER A FEAR OF BEING UNDESIRABLE/UNATTRACTIVE/UNLOVABLE BUT YOU’RE OVER STRESSING ABOUT FOOD ALL THE TIME.
Something has to give, it’s one or the other.
