Short answer: yes
For years, I was SUPER sensitive about hunger, I HATED the feeling of hunger. Everywhere I went I brought with me a snack bag. My boyfriend: Why do you need a bag of snacks with you, we’re just running ONE errand.
Fast forward to today
I’m at this really comfortable place with food/hunger. These days, I never get that frantic feeling before meals. Even if I push my normal meal times, I’m calm. My body has adjusted.
I’m much more pleasant to be with these days.
It took a long time for my body to feel safe
And now that I’m more comfortable with food, I’ve also become more adventurous with food. Finally this year, I’m not just eating the same breakfast for years on end. I’m actually checking in to see what I FEEL LIKE eating.
Becoming intuitive with food gets better over time, I have a feeling it will be the case for you as well.
