I’ve always been in a “situationship” with food. That’s why I got my Master’s degree in Public Health & Nutritional Science: to figure out how people should eat.
My story with food and body image started in ballet class at the age of 10 as I was staring at my protruding belly in the mirror. Beyond ballet, my parents showed love through food and as an only child it was also my best friend. That ultimately led me through a colorful and long-drawn-out disordered eating pendulum.
After close to 7 years of dieting, bingeing, and disordered eating, I realized that I didn’t have to live life feeling-out-of-control around food.
Finally I had discovered the world of intuitive eating. At first I thought it was a cult, but now I realize that it was the answer.
It took me TOO LONG to make peace with food. Today, I eat all the things I used to binge on and don’t even think twice about it. I am no longer on the hungry + guilty roller coaster. And best of all, I am living a life in a body I nourish and feel confident about.
Food and body thoughts no longer control me. This stuff is truly life changing and I want you to feel this same freedom with food and body! And I know I can get you there.
